Join our team of Pointer Board Installers

We are looking for reliable independent contractors to join our team to manage the installation of real estate pointer boards. You will need to be available 2 or 3 days per week with flexibility to choose your working days and start/finish times to fit the jobs you take on. The position requires you to put up small lightweight real estate pointer boards on street corners in either the Northern or Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The boards assist in marketing properties for sale for the agents. A key requirement of the position is seeking permission to place these boards on private property, and this requires you to knock on doors and interact with homeowners.

As a contractor you will be paid on a per job basis currently ranging from $22 to $28.50 per job (inclusive of super) depending on job requirements. Experienced installers can complete 12-15 jobs per day. Each job is inclusive of putting the signs up and removing them at the end of the marketing campaign.

Eligibility & Experience

· You must have a current drivers license and provide your own vehicle with comprehensive motor insurance

· You must have an ABN to provide your service as a contractor

· You must provide your own installation tools. No specialised equipment is necessary. Tools include a cordless drill, mallet, and a phone to take and upload photos of job completion

· Experience is not necessary, but you must enjoy working autonomously, outdoors, and interacting with people. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, and taking ownership and pride in your workmanship will see you excel in this role

· An interest or work experience in real estate is an advantage. This position may be ideal for those semi-retired or part time self-employed looking to supplement their income with a stress free role
